Live broadcast via webcam to Moscow, Red Square. Known as the main square of Moscow and Russia, it is the historical center of the city, located between the Moscow Kremlin and China Town.

The square is washed by the banks of the Moscow River and extends from Kremlinsky Proezd and Voskresenskie Vorota Proezd to Vasilievsky Spusk, which leads to the Kremlin Embankment. To the east of the square are Nikolskaya Street, Ilyinka and Varvarka.

On the western side of the square you will find the Moscow Kremlin, and on the eastern side – the Upper and Middle shopping rows. Although the square is part of the Moscow Kremlin ensemble, historically it is also part of China Town.

Red Square is known for its iconic architectural monuments, such as Lobnoye Mesto, the monument to Minin and Pozharsky, the Mausoleum of Vladimir Lenin, as well as the Kazan and Intercession Cathedrals. This architectural ensemble is protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Historically, the square served as a trading place, and during Soviet times it hosted military parades and demonstrations. Today it has become a popular venue for social events and concerts.

The square is 330 meters long, 75 meters wide and has a total area of 24,750 square meters, and is paved with Crimean gabbro-diabase paving stones.
