A live webcam shows the Kutum River and the Sapozhnikovsky Bridge in Astrakhan.
The Kutum River is a river in the Astrakhan region in the south of Russia, one of the branches of the Volga River, as well as the northern and eastern boundary of the island where the Astrakhan Kremlin is located. The length of the river is 26 km, it originates from the left bank of the Volga River in the center of Astrakhan, flows through the entire city, and flows into the Bolda River in the Astrakhan region.
On the right bank of the Kutum River, near its source, is the Central Embankment of Astrakhan, and further along both banks stretches the Red Embankment. The main attractions of the Red Embankment include the Bridge of Lovers, Victory Square, and merchant mansions, which are architectural monuments.
The Red Embankment is one of the popular tourist spots for walks and relaxation in Astrakhan, with many restaurants, cafes, shops, hotels, and guesthouses. The webcam is installed at the 5-star hotel “Seventh Heaven” located on the Red Embankment. Through it, you can see the Kutum River and the Sapozhnikovsky Bridge over it.
