It stretches 1,065 meters and rises above the ground on 11 Y-shaped columns, the tallest of which reaches 87.5 meters.
This magnificent engineering masterpiece was designed by Janez Kozel and Marjan Piepenbacher, the latter of whom was also its builder.
Construction of the viaduct began in 2001, and in 2004 it was opened to traffic. Completing its journey in 2004, the viaduct even took part in a stage of the famous Giro d’Italia race.
