The Astrakhan Kremlin is an architectural structure that represents a cohesive ensemble built in 1620 according to the design of the architect Dorofey Myakishev to defend Astrakhan from Turkey and the Crimean Khanate.

The Astrakhan Kremlin is a stone fortress located on an island hill, serving as an important outpost in the southeast of Russia. Today, it is the historical core of Astrakhan, a historical and architectural complex, a monument of federal significance, including 22 objects from the 16th to 20th centuries.
