Enjoy a live view of Lermontov Boulevard, one of the most beautiful parts of the resort promenade in the city of Gelendzhik.
Stretching under the shade of the famous Pitsunda pines, Lermontov Boulevard runs from Sadovaya Street, where the monument to Mikhail Lermontov stands, to the White House hotel complex, where it seamlessly transitions into Primorsky Boulevard. The boulevard is adorned with lovely flower beds, sculptures, and fountains, and features numerous cafes and restaurants.
Lermontov Boulevard was preserved in its current state largely due to the efforts of the First Secretary of the Gelendzhik City Committee of the Communist Party, N. Pogodin, in the 1970s. His directive ensured that construction crews received bonuses for every tree saved during the installation of the city’s sewer system. The boulevard experienced a renaissance during the latest reconstruction of Gelendzhik’s promenade after the decline of the 1990s.
