Here’s a webcam where you can watch the Columbia River live.

This river is the largest in the Pacific Northwest region of North America.

The river’s source is in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada. It flows first northwest, then south into the US state of Washington, and then turns west, creating much of the border between Washington and Oregon before emptying into the Pacific Ocean.

The river is 1,243 miles (2,000 kilometers) long and its largest tributary is the Snake River. Its drainage basin is comparable in size to France and covers seven US states and one Canadian province.

One of the largest rivers in the United States by volume, Columbia has the highest flow rate of any river flowing into the Pacific Ocean outside of Asia and ranks 36th in the world in terms of flow of any river.
