Campus Martius Park, which has been renovated in downtown Detroit, Michigan, is viewable via webcam.
After the Great Fire of 1805, the park became the focal point of Judge Augustus Woodward’s restoration efforts to rebuild the city. Its name was taken from the main square in Marietta, Ohio, the first capital of the Northwest Territories.
The park is located at the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Michigan Avenue, just four blocks south of Grand Circus Park. This park originally covered several acres and served as the main gathering place for the townspeople.
