Now you have the opportunity to watch Terminal Tower via live webcam. This office skyscraper is located at 50 Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and its height is 215.8 meters.

In 1930, when Terminal Tower was completed, it was the fourth tallest building in the world. Interestingly, the first three skyscrapers were also located in New York.

The building’s night lighting has been active since its opening. From the very beginning, a strobe light was installed on the roof, rotating around to help ships arriving at the Port of Cleveland and planes landing at the local airport navigate at night.

In the 1960s, this strobe light was replaced by standard aviation beacons. During World War II, an image of a tower with a working strobe light was used on a patriotic poster.

In its entire history, Terminal Tower was left without illumination only once: this happened in August 2003 due to a major energy accident. Currently, the skyscraper’s night lighting is provided by 508 LEDs, allowing the creation of a variety of light compositions.
