A webcam shows the main square of the city of Novigrad in Croatia in real time.

Novigrad is a city located on a small peninsula on the western coast of the Istria Peninsula in the Adriatic Sea, and is one of the oldest cities in Croatia. People have lived in this place since ancient times, and many archaeological finds and historical monuments have been discovered here. Initially, Novigrad was a fishing town, in the 1960s textile industry and agriculture started to develop here, and in the 1970s tourism flourished.

The main square of Novigrad, or Big Square, is located in the city center, with the Church of Saints Pelagius and Maximilian, built in the 6th century, standing on it. The church bell tower was erected in 1883 and was constructed in the image of the bell tower of St. Mark’s Church in Venice, with a statue of Saint Pelagius, the patron saint of Novigrad, crowning it.
