A live webcam shows the Main Square of the city of Khabarovsk.

The Main Square of Khabarovsk is named after V.I. Lenin and is the central square of the capital of the Khabarovsk Territory. It is located in the Central district of the city, between Pushkin, Muravyov-Amursky, and Gogol streets, covering an area of over 25,000 m². Lenin Square is one of the oldest squares in Khabarovsk.

It was formed in the second half of the 19th century and was initially called Nikolaevskaya Square in honor of the Nikolaevskaya Church. After the October Revolution of 1917, it was renamed Freedom Square, and in 1925 a monument to V.I. Lenin was erected there. From 1950 to 1957, it was named after I.V. Stalin, and on July 27, 1957, by the decision of the city executive committee, the square was renamed Lenin Square.

The facades of the most important buildings in Khabarovsk overlook the square, including the Government building of the Khabarovsk Territory, the Far Eastern Academy of Public Administration, the Far Eastern State Medical University, the Central Hotel, and others. In the center of the square, there is a large fountain complex covering an area of 52×52 m. Today, Lenin Square is a venue for city events and festivals in Khabarovsk, during winter it hosts the main Christmas tree and an ice sculpture town.
