Wildlife Kenya – ol Donyo is primarily associated with its diverse fauna, and this diversity of Kenya’s nature has become world famous, especially due to the abundance of large mammals.

Mammals in Kenya include lions, cheetahs, hippopotamuses, African buffalo, wildebeest, African elephants, zebras, giraffes and rhinoceroses. Kenya is also home to many different species of birds, including flamingos and ostriches.
It is important to note that Kenya has two significant wildlife regions; Some animal species can only be found in dry areas, while others are found exclusively in the north of the country.
Kenya’s short and long rainy seasons make the country excellent for wildlife viewing. Here, the high density of animals, surpassing many other African countries makes Kenya an ideal destination for wildlife encounters.
