The webcam shows Diagonal Avenue in Barcelona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. Diagonal Avenue is one of the main streets of Barcelona, a major transportation artery that diagonally crosses the city, hence its name. The avenue is 11 km long, starting near the “Museum of Natural Sciences” on the city’s waterfront near the “Forum” yacht port (Port Forum). Along the avenue, there are many shopping centers and headquarters of major national and international banks. Also located on the avenue are well-known landmarks of Barcelona, such as “Casa Terrades” (Casa de les Punxes), Glories-Catalanes Square, and the Agbar Tower (Torre Agbar) nearby.
