The live webcam enables you to see Old Main (Utah State University), which was the first building on the Utah Agricultural College (now University of Utah) campus.
On the top of Old Main Hill, there is a view of Logan City towards the west and the courtyard to its east. It has been operating as an academic structure in the state since long ago.
By choosing a hillside site south of Providence City, the Board of Trustees for this new college decided on March 26, 1889, they would meet in Logan to discuss it and a gift by Logan City Council to that effect. Following unanimous agreement on the present location on April 15, The board selected architect K.L.’s proposal. Thompson for creating a “college building.”
Digs began and the cornerstone was laid on July 27th1898 work ended up being completed along with the southern end of the old main building on February 22nd1890.
