The Taiping Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Meishan Town, Chiayi County, Taiwan. Notably, it holds the distinction of being the longest suspension bridge in Taiwan.
The bridge was officially inaugurated on August 20, 2017, in a ceremony graced by the presence of Chiayi Judge Helen Chang. It was subsequently opened to the public on September 23, 2017.
Architecture-wise, the bridge spans an impressive length of 281 meters and stands at an approximate height of 1000 meters above sea level. The bridge is artistically adorned with lanterns that illuminate in various hues every evening, resembling the vibrant colors of a rainbow.
