The webcam provides a view of Rapallo, a resort town on the Ligurian coast, located on the waters of the Tigullio Gulf of the Ligurian Sea between Portofino and Chiavari, southeast of Genoa.
From this camera you can see the city, which has become a resort with fashionable hotels since the arrival of the railway from Rome to Nice in 1868.
Rapallo became especially popular during the Belle Epoque, attracting famous writers, diplomats and members of the high aristocracy such as Maupassant, Nietzsche and Ezra Pound. On this earth, Nietzsche even began work on his treatise, Thus Spoke Zarathustra.
