Kamchatka faces -37 °C cold over its volcanoes

Kamchatka is under a sharp cold forecast right now, with -37 °C at the Klyuchevskoy Volcano camera and two cameras affected across Russia. Look for hard dark skies, pale ground, and thin breath or steam if the light is up.
Klyuchevskaya Sopka rises 4,850 meters on the Kamchatka Peninsula and is the highest volcano on the Eurasian continent. It sits in the eastern part of Kamchatka, 360 km north of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and it is one of the region's natural attractions. The live frame there showed a dark night sky with a few faint points of light.
Open The Flat Tolbachik Volcano in Kamchatka next. It lies southwest of the Klyuchevskaya group, near Atlasovo, Mayskoye, Klyuchi, Lazo and Kozyrevsk, and its crater can sometimes show weak ash or lava lakes. Right now, look for a still slope and a cold horizon on that camera.
