High wind warning set for Sturgis and the Black Hills

High winds are set for Sturgis and parts of western South Dakota from Monday to Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service says.
Look for blowing dust, reduced visibility and quick-moving traffic on the Sturgis main street camera. Sturgis sits in south-central Meade County, and the street camera gives a live view of downtown. The area is closely tied to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, which began in 1938 and still draws riders to the Black Hills. The street camera should be the first stop if you want to watch how the wind moves through downtown.
On another screen, the rally camera at Hotel Sturgis on Main St. gives a second angle on the same stretch of town. Open that one next if the dust builds after sunrise, when the warning takes hold across northwestern and southwestern South Dakota.
