Fairmont The Palm is a five-star hotel located on the trunk of the Palm Jumeirah artificial island in Dubai, UAE. The hotel is located on the world’s largest man-made island in the shape of a palm tree and provides magnificent views of the Persian Gulf. It also provides easy access to Dubai Port and business districts such as Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City and Dubai Knowledge Village.
Fairmont The Palm offers 381 guest rooms and suites, including two luxurious Presidential Suites and the Fairmont Gold Lounge.
Fairmont The Palm was opened in December 2012 through a joint effort between IFA Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. IFA Hotels & Resorts has invested $330 million to develop and operate this hotel.
The architectural design of the hotel was inspired and implemented with the active participation of Chief Architect Clive Ford of DSA Architects International. The interior design of the hotel was developed by HHCP Design International based in Florida.
The hotel also features spacious 3,000 square meter meeting and event spaces, including a ballroom, outdoor areas and a business center. The hotel was built at a cost of US$330 million and opened to the public on December 24, 2012.
