The official founding date of the United States of America is July 4, 1776. On this day, independence from Great Britain was declared, although its full recognition came only in 1783.
The state symbol of the country is the Great Seal, which was developed over 6 years and was approved on June 20, 1782. This seal has two different sides and many elements, numbering 13, which symbolizes the original 13 united states.
On the front side of the seal is an eagle with the inscription “E Pluribus Unum”, which translates as “Out of many – one”, and on the reverse side – a pyramid with a top crowned with the “Eye of Providence” and the inscriptions “Annuit Coeptis” (apparently, God approved beginnings) and “Novus Ordo Seclorum” (new order of the ages).
