Andorra, or the Principality of Andorra as it is officially called, is one of the dwarf states of Europe. It is landlocked and located in the eastern Pyrenees between France and Spain, associated with them, but not part of the EU.
The capital of this state is Andorra la Vella.
Andorra is a multinational state with diversity in ethnocultural, linguistic, religious, racial and national terms. According to CIA data for 2022, Andorra’s population was 85,560. The national composition of the population in 2021 included Andorans (48.3%), Spaniards (24.8%), Portuguese (11.2%), French (4.5%), Argentines (1.4%) and other nationalities ( 9.8%).
According to the country’s constitution, the official language is Catalan, although French, Spanish (Castilian dialect) and Portuguese are also spoken.
