We have a webcam that you can use to watch Broad Haven Beach.
This beach is a long narrow strip of sand and shingle at high tide, but at low tide it reveals a huge expanse of hard sand, providing space for all visitors. During the summer months, it can be a very popular destination due to its safe swimming conditions.
The cliffs on both sides form sheltered bays. At low tide, you can walk around the headland on the south side into another cove called Settlands. You can then walk around the next headland to Little Haven. If you’re interested, watch the tide!
There are restrictions on dogs on the northern third of the beach from May 1st to September 30th. View the beach map to see where this applies.
If you’re planning to visit, be sure to check the tide times to make sure you’ll have plenty of room to play and that you won’t be cut off from land by the incoming tide!
