This live webcam offers a view of the Bosphorus Bridge, officially known as the July 15 Martyrs Bridge and colloquially as the First Bridge. It is the oldest and southernmost of the three suspension bridges crossing the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, Turkey, thus connecting Europe and Asia, along with the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. The bridge spans between Ortaköy (in Europe) and Beylerbeyi (in Asia).
This suspension bridge with gravity-anchored steel towers and inclined hangers features an aerodynamic deck suspended by steel cables. It has a length of 1560 meters and a deck width of 33.40 meters. The distance between the towers (the main span) is 1074 meters, and the total height of the towers is 165 meters. The bridge stands 64 meters above sea level.
