There is a webcam showing Victoria Square in the city of Adelaide, South Australia.

Adelaide is the largest city, the administrative, and commercial center of the state of South Australia. Adelaide is the fifth-largest city in the country with a population of about 1.2 million people. The city was founded in 1836 and named after Queen Adelaide, the wife of the British monarch William IV who reigned from 1830 to 1836. The city is located on the shore of St Vincent Gulf of the Indian Ocean, on the Adelaide Plains at the foot of the Mount Lofty Ranges.

Victoria Square is the main square of Adelaide, located in the heart of the city and is a venue for various festive and public events. Every year, a 24.5-meter tall Christmas tree is installed on Victoria Square. The square is surrounded by the facades of state and historic buildings, such as the Supreme Court of South Australia, the Federal Court, the five-star Adina Hotel located in a historic former treasury building. Also located there are the Cathedral of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic, Carnegie Mellon University, as well as shops and restaurants.
