Kalinina Avenue is one of the major streets in the Proletarsky district of the city of Tver. The avenue runs predominantly from east to west, starting from the intersection with Sofya Perovskaya Street, as a continuation of Sofya Perovskaya Street, and merges into Lenin Avenue near the Memorial to the legendary crew of Stepan Gorobets.
Kalinina Avenue is a key thoroughfare in the Proletarsky district, which, together with Lenin Avenue and 50 Let Oktyabrya Street, provides the road connection of Tver with the cities of Staritsa and Rzhev. It is also one of the widest avenues in Tver, with six lanes, three in each direction.
