The architectural design of the skyscraper was developed by the famous firm Kohn Pedersen Fox under the leadership of James von Klemperer. The project was approved in March 2009 and ground work began seven months later. Interestingly, the building’s design was initially considered by the American firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.
In addition, it is worth noting that the first hacking incident occurred on March 27, 2016, when two Russian photographers climbed to the top of the crane and took video.
