The webcam provides a view of Hin Kong Beach, a long stretch of shore on the west coast of Koh Phangan.
However, as a swimming spot it should be excluded from consideration as most of its surface is very flat and the reef is only 280 meters from shore. At low tide, the water completely recedes, allowing Thais to collect mussels and small crabs from the seabed.
There is always someone here ready to explain what exactly is going on and how it is prepared. Mangrove forests take several years to regenerate and play an important role in the ecosystem, serving as a nursery for various sea creatures. Watching them brings pleasure. The sunsets in Hin Kong are especially impressive!
In addition to the typical bungalows, there are many small houses available for rent, which may be of interest to long-term visitors. The center of the village is formed around the Ananda Wellness Resort, which also houses several excellent restaurants.
