Managed by a private entity, the park is positioned between Fifth Avenue and Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue), spanning from 40th to 42nd Streets in Midtown Manhattan. The eastern section of Bryant Park is home to the Main Branch of the New York Public Library, while the western section, featuring a lawn, shaded pathways, and attractions like a carousel, is entirely situated above an underground structure housing the library’s collections.
