A live webcam shows the main square of Zagreb in Croatia.
The main square of Zagreb (Ban Jelačić Square) is located in the very center of the Croatian capital. It was named after the Austrian military commander of Croatian origin, Count Jelačić-Bužimski. The square was founded in the 17th century and was originally called Harmica.
Nowadays, it is a popular place for relaxation and gatherings for the residents and guests of Zagreb. The square is part of a pedestrian zone, but tram tracks pass through it and many tram routes intersect there. The square is surrounded by old buildings in the styles of classicism, baroque, and modernism. The webcam is situated in Neboder (the first skyscraper in Zagreb) and also provides a view of Zagreb Cathedral.
