Entering this dilapidated gate, you will step on a stone staircase that will lead you to the Chapel of the Salvation of the Mother of God and the Kotor Fortress.
We advise you to plan a hike up the mountain in the morning, as it is very hot in summer and the sun will not spare you. Put on comfortable shoes and take a bottle of water with you, because you have to overcome 1400 narrow stone steps and this is only up.
