The church is located at an altitude of 105 meters above sea level and you can only reach it on foot along the fortress wall, you will need to overcome a path of 500 steps. As a result of archaeological excavations, an even older church dating back to the 6th century was discovered here. The walls of the church are decorated with paintings with episodes of the life of the Virgin Mary.
