Rancho La Onza is an extraordinary piece of nature situated at the center of Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve in Guanajuato that can be observed online by means of our webcam.
Sierra Gorda is an ecological region that encompasses the north part of the state of Queretaro and extends into the territories of Guanajuato, Hidalgo and San Luis Potosí. Most sections within this region are under some form of protection as two biosphere reserves exist here, one in Querétaro established in 1997 and a second one created later on in 2007 in Guanajuato.
The Sierra Gorda area includes Franciscan Missions as well as being part of the World Heritage Site Queretaro.
