The webcam shows the beach and the English Promenade in the resort city of Nice, France. Nice is the most popular and main resort on the French Riviera, located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region in the southeastern part of France, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea.
Along the Nice promenade stretches a long public beach with large pebbles and stones, requiring special footwear. The bathing season here starts at the end of May and ends in October. In May, the water is still quite cool, warming up nicely by the end of June when its temperature exceeds +26 degrees Celsius. September marks the velvet season, with significantly fewer tourists, milder weather, and lower prices compared to the peak tourist season.
