This is a live broadcast from the mountain village of Finse in Norway.

The exhibition showcases Finse railway station, which is the highest station on Norway’s railway network, located at 1,222 meters (4,009 feet) above sea level!

This station plays a key role for the village as it has no road access except for pedestrian and cycle paths.

On the right side of the webcam image you can see the unique Rallar Museum, which is associated with the history of the Bergen Railway, built between 1871 and 1909. On the left side is the cozy Finse 1222 Hotel, which is one of the few resorts in this village.

Finse is landscaped on the shores of Lake Finsevatnet, and just 5 km to the south is the huge Hardangerjökulen glacier!
