Presumably, the waterfall appeared in the 17th century as a result of the construction of the castle, since the material for construction was taken from the river.
Until our time, the castle did not survive and the waterfall remained.
The waterfall is the widest in Europe. The width of the waterfall depends on the amount of water-usually 100 meters, but in high water it can be more than 200 meters.
You can come to the waterfall at any time of the year, it is better of course on a hot summer day when you can swim there. The entrance to the waterfall is free.
