Sulfur Ponds

Sulfur Ponds

Sulfur Ponds are part of the Witch Swamp in the Kemeri National Park. The length of the trail is 0.8 kilometers. When you reach the end of the gati, you will see sulfur ponds and an information board telling about all the inhabitants of this area . Walking along the path, it is easy to determine by the smell that the lakes themselves are sulfur, looking at the water you will not understand this. At the end of the trail, the bottom of the ponds will be yellow, but the water itself is transparently clean. But the most interesting thing is that cranberries , lingonberries , bagulnik and other beautiful flowers grow near sulfur ponds. While enjoying the views, do not forget that you can not go off the trail.
