Kemi is a small town in the Lapland province in the northern part of Finland, located on the shore of the Bothnian Bay near the Kemi River, not far from the city of Tornio. Kemi’s attractions include the Snow Castle (LumiLinna), the icebreaker Sampo, the Kemi Church built in a neo-Gothic style in 1902, a gallery of precious stones, and the sailing ship Jähti.
