Live webcam to monitor the central square of Marienplatz in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, where the old town hall (German: Altes Rathaus) is located. In the past, the building was a council house until 1874, and today it serves as a representative building for the city council. The Old Town Hall occupies the eastern side of the central square, Marienplatz.

First built in 1310, the building contains the Great Hall (Großer Saal), built in 1392/1394, and its spire, which was previously part of the Thalburg Gate of the first city wall. The architect Jörg von Halsbach (1470–1480) rebuilt the old town hall in the late Gothic style. The interior decoration includes dancing Morris figures created by Erasmus Grasser. In subsequent years, the building was remodeled in the Renaissance and Baroque styles, and then restored in the Neo-Gothic style from 1861 to 1864. After the municipality moved to the New Town Hall in 1874, the old town hall retained its significance as a historical monument.
