We invite you to immerse yourself in a live broadcast of a panoramic video of the city of Szczecin, located in northwestern Poland, not far from the border with Germany. This city, with a population of approximately 401,907 people (as of 2019), is the seventh largest in the country and the administrative center of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Szczecin, together with adjacent Świnoujście, forms the largest Baltic Sea port in Poland and also serves as a center for developed industry, including petrochemicals and mechanical engineering. The Szczecin-Goleniów International Airport is also located here, and Lake Dąbie gives the city its special appeal.

The history of Szczecin goes back to the 8th century when the West Slavic tribe of Pomeranians settled on these lands. Over time, fortified settlements arose here on the banks of the Odra River, and in the 9th century, the Sanctuary of the Gods of Triglav appeared. The second half of the 10th century brought the city a new status as a trade and craft center, and in subsequent years Szczecin became a key administrative and economic hub of Western Pomerania.
