Through a webcam, you can watch live the beauty of Villapadierna Castle (Castillo De Villapadierna), a late medieval fortress located in the Spanish town of Villapadierna in the province of Leon.

The castle is on the outskirts of the village and very close to the main church of San Cornelio and San Cipriano, which is celebrated on September 16. Its construction dates back to the mid-15th century, at least after 1431, when Admiral Fadrique Enriquez received the town as a gift from Juan II of Castile.

Later the castle passed to the House of Alba, and in the 18th century it was owned by the Marquise of Villafranca, who in 1797 authorized the installation of bells on the tower for the parish.
