The castle is located in the town of Tukums and is one of the most interesting castles in Kurzeme in the classical style. The castle was built in 1671 and, like all castles of that time, was rebuilt many times. Next to the castle is a landscaped park with a rotunda and a stone bridge over the ravine. In the building of the castle there is a museum where various exhibitions take place. There is a special program for newlyweds here.
