The Republic of Kosovo is a state in South-Eastern Europe, partially recognized on the Balkan Peninsula, in the Kosovo region.

Its capital is Pristina and its official languages are Albanian and Serbian.

According to the Serbian constitution, the territory of the Republic of Kosovo is included in the Republic of Serbia as the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija (Kosmet), but in practice it is not controlled by the Serbian authorities.
