Háj waterfalls are located at the bottom of the Sky Valley, in the Karst National Park. The waterfalls are easily accessible, leaving the car in the parking you just need to go down to the waterfalls.
There are 2 waterfalls, one small with one cascade and the second larger. In the summer, the waterfalls are very pleasant to be near, and in the winter, the waterfalls freeze. There is a picnic area near the waterfalls.
Why visit?
- A great place for hiking – the route passes through dense forest and picturesque cliffs.
- Nearby are famous caves of the Slovak Karst, such as Domica Cave and Gombasecká jaskyňa.
- There are many rare species of plants and animals in this area, so naturalists and photographers often come here.
