A G1 geomagnetic storm could bring aurora tonight over Akureyri and Klaksvík, with clear skies expected at both cameras.

Akureyri sits by Eyjafjörður in northern Iceland, where the Rósenborg Centre looks out over the town that is known as the largest in the north of the country. The sky there should be worth a look after dark, facing north. Klaksvík on Borðoy in the Faroe Islands is the second-largest town and harbor in the islands, set at the end of two fjords. Its harbor view gives you another place to watch if the sky stays clear.
