Explore Homigot in North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea via webcam. This piece of land flows into the Sea of Japan east of the city of Pohang in Daebo-myeon. In this area you will find Homigot Lighthouse, which is the tallest lighthouse in South Korea.
Homigot is also home to the Korean National Lighthouse Museum, located next to the lighthouse. Here you can find information about all the lighthouses in the country.
Professor Seung Gook Kim from Yeongnam University collaborated with Pohang Construction and Daegu Bank to create the “Hand of Coexistence” symbol.
This two-handed sculpture was installed at Homigot in Pohang in December 1999 to celebrate the new millennium. The right arm is 8.5 meters high and rises above the sea, and its base on the sunrise area is 5.5 meters.
