Mawgan Port is protected by high cliffs on both sides, which provides enough sand even on the busiest days at low tide.
This beach is ideal for a family holiday thanks to the many rock pools, caves and even a large stream that flows along the south side of the beach. Here you will find all the amenities you can expect from one of the best beaches in the region, including access for the disabled.
Mawgan Port Beach also has seasonal lifeguard cover, and although swimming is usually safe, it is also a popular surfing spot, making it quite exposed to Atlantic waves.
