Check out the live webcam in Negril. This is a large resort settlement in Jamaica, located on the coast in the western part of the island, at the mouth of the Negril River. Negril is one of Jamaica’s tourist destinations and its attraction is its 11 km long beach of white coral sand, which remains cool even on the hottest afternoon.
The oldest building in Negril is the lighthouse, built in 1894. In the 1970s, the resort became famous among hippies and their followers, which led to rapid population growth in the settlement, where more than 5 thousand people live. Currently, the hotel infrastructure is developed here.
In the spring, American schoolchildren flock to Negril to spend their holidays in hotels, bars and watering holes, and from the first weeks of August, numerous Jamaicans also come here for holidays.
