This bridge is part of the Taiwan Highway 9 South Link widening and improvement project implemented by the Highway Administration of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of China. The bridge was opened to traffic on October 15, 2017. Located near the west coast of the Pacific Ocean and the Mount Dawu region of the central mountain range, the Jinlun Bridge was once highly praised by the Taiwanese media as “the most beautiful viaduct in Taiwan.”
