Webcam overlooking the Port Lympia, also known as the Old Port of Nice, is a port located in the city of Nice, part of the Bay of Angels.
It has more than 500 berths and is located on the Mediterranean coast, in the Alpes-Maritimes, on the Côte d’Azur coast, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region.
This port, covering an area of 20 hectares, is located opposite the Bay of Angels, in the port area of Nice, between Old Nice and its old castle hill, and Mont Boron on the Cape of Nice, where the three Corniches and Villefranche are located.
Its name comes from the Limpia Spring, which once fed a small lake in the marshy area where port work began in the mid-18th century. It is currently the main port of Nice, although there is also a small port in the Carras area.
