Paguera is a resort town located on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea bay on the northwest coast of the island of Majorca, 25 km west of Palma de Majorca. Paguera is situated on hills surrounded by pine forests and is considered one of the best places in Spain for lovers of beautiful nature and romance. Initially built for harvesting resin from the pine trees growing in the area, the town began to develop as a resort from the mid-20th century. Tourists from Germany love to vacation at this resort, and there are many of them here, which is why the resort town of Paguera is also known as “Little Germany.”
