There is an urban legend about this house. In the house that stood in this place 300 years ago, there lived an old bachelor who had a very frivolous habit of peeking through the windows of the house opposite, where three young girls lived and peeking at the moment when they were changing clothes.
In 1907, architect Jacques Rosenbaum moved to Tallinn and soon received an order for the construction of a house from a rich entrepreneur Reichmann. Apparently, having heard the city legend, the architect decorated the building with a bust of a gentleman with a lorgnette . If you look closely at the photo of the bust, you can see the dilated pupils of admiring eyes and a voluptuous smile.
